Single Game Tickets Go On Sale Wednesday, March 1

Louisville, KY - The Louisville Bats announced that single game tickets for the 2006 season at Louisville Slugger Field will go on sale Wednesday, March 1 at 10 a.m.. This will be the first opportunity for fans to purchase tickets for any of the Bats 72 home games.

The upcoming season marks the seventh year of play at Louisville Slugger Field as well as the seventh year of affiliation with the Reds. The Bats open their home season on Friday, April 14 versus the Ottawa Lynx, Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Post-game fireworks and a magnet schedule giveaway to all fans along with an appearance from the Bucket Boys will highlight Opening Night. Louisville will once again have a game on Thunder over Louisville Day, Saturday April 22 as the Bats take on their West Division rival Indianapolis Indians at 2:15 p.m. Thunder tickets range in price from a $20 lawn seat to $30 bleacher or left field reserved seats. Thunder fireworks will be shot over the Second Street Bridge at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at ticketmaster.com, where tickets may be printed from your home computer using the ticketFast system, Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone (361-3100), Ticketmaster Ticket Centers and at the Louisville Slugger Field box office located in the West Hall of Fame. Regular hours at the Louisville Slugger Field box office will be Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Ticketmaster Ticket Centers are located at all Kroger Supermarket locations.
