With the official beginning of spring right around the corner, the Lugnuts 2004 season is that much closer to getting started! And while the players that will make up the team are in Arizona in training, the Lugnuts staff is gearing up for the official opening of individual game ticket sales!
Individual game tickets for all 70 Lansing Lugnuts home games will be made available for the general public starting on Saturday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Oldsmobile Park! Be sure to grab your seats for all the most popular Lugnut games, including LAFCU Fireworks and Auto-Owners Insurance Bobblehead Giveaway nights, before they are gone! Season ticket packages are still available as well, starting as low as just $75, and come loaded with benefits! The Lugnuts offer season ticket packages in full season, 35, 20, and 10 game packages. With the start of the 2004 season right around the corner, you may be wondering exactly where you can catch all the exciting action of Lugnuts baseball on the radio.
The answer is 92.7 FM, The Ticket! Starting April 8th, tune into 92.7 and catch all the home runs and highlights with the voice of the Lugnuts, Seth VanHoven. And for the first time in Lugnuts history, all 140 games will be streamed over the Internet at www.lansinglugnuts.com! Should you miss a game for whatever reason, the games will be archived so you can always catch the recap!
In addition to live game broadcasts, the partnership will also include a Lugnuts sports talk show beginning in April of 2004. The hour-long program will cover the Lugnuts in-depth with interviews and call-in opportunities, and will air weekly on 92.7 The Ticket at a day and time to be announced at a later date. Fans will also have the opportunity to keep up on Lugnuts happenings with the Lugnut Minute. The Lugnut Minute will include recaps of the team's performance on the field along with information regarding upcoming events and promotions at Oldsmobile Park and can be heard daily on all Mid-Michigan Radio Group Stations, 92.7 The Ticket, Q106, 94.1 WVIC and MY 92.1.

Spring training underway, minor league pitchers and catchers report March 6th
Big league camp has officially opened and the Cubs play their first exhibition game against the San Francisco Giants on March 4th! Over the course of the next month, several former Lugnuts will see action in these games as they make their push up the ladder of the Cubs system.
For the minor leaguers, pitchers and catchers make their way to Arizona starting March 6th with the full squad due in Mesa by March 9th. The players that will make up the 2004 Lugnuts start playing exhibition games on March 20th when they play an Anaheim Angels affiliated team. They will play games through April 4th before arriving in Lansing on April 5th, three days before the start of the 2004 season.
Who will make up the 2004 Lugnuts? Only time will tell, but we hope to see you at the home opener April 16th as the Lugnuts host the South Bend Silver Hawks!!
