Buffalo Silverbacks News Release
Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Silverbacks defeated the Richmond Ballerz 119-97 Wednesday night at Buffalo State College Arena. This is Buffalo's 4th straight win at home as they quickly climb back from an 0-4 record to 4-5. The Silverbacks pulled off to an early lead and held steady through the first half. Richmond closed the gap to 10 points in the third as emotions soared and game play became very physical. In the end, Richmond just couldn't recover from the perimeter shooting of the Silverbacks.
Antoine Sims led the team in scoring with 22 points, Dameon Sansom was just behind with 20 and Lamar Castile turned in 15 points with 10 rebounds. Victor Venteres and Koran Barnes had 11 points each, totaling five of Buffalo's players in double digits.
Tomorrow night Buffalo faces off against Richmond again at 8pm, Buffalo State College Arena. The Christmas Spectacular continues, kids only $5 and this is your last chance to receive FREE team gear at the game. Free team gear like shirts, sweatshirts, flannel logo pants, beanies and gym packs will be available next game. Thursday night's game is being brought to you by LHR, Inc in association with Integrity Distribution, AdPro Team Sports and "The Family." LHR, the right way.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
