Tickets for the Atlantic Division champions and unbeaten Silverbacks Women home finale are only $3! Send the Silverbacks into the playoffs in style when they face the West Virginia Illusion at Atlanta Silverbacks Park, Saturday, July 19. Kickoff is at 3:00.

The Silverbacks are led by Sarah Steinmann and Christine Latham, who are one-two in goals in the league. Steinmann has netted an astounding 19 goals (1.46 per game) this season, trailed by Latham-whose hat trick last weekend at Charlotte helped give the Silverbacks the division title-with 13 goals in 13 games.

Men Return to League Play Friday The Silverbacks return to league play Friday night, hosting the Portland Timbers at Atlanta Silverbacks Park. Kickoff is at 7:55.

The Timbers cling to a two-point lead over the sixth-place Silverbacks in the league standings. This will be the final appearance for Portland at Silverbacks Park this season. Silverbacks Host Honduran Champs Saturday

The Silverbacks will host Honduran champions Olimpia Saturday night in a testimonial match for former Silverback and Olimpia great Alex Pineda-Chacon. Kickoff is at 8:00.

Pineda-Chacon made his professional debut for Olimpia in 1988, winning the league title, Central American Championship, and CONCACAF Champions Cup his first season as a professional. He played for Olimpia from 1988-1993, and again from 1995-2001, winning a second league championship in 1993 and picking up golden boot honors for his league-high 12 goals. Following golden boot and MVP seasons in Major League Soccer, Pineda-Chacon joined the Silverbacks in 2004 and made 77 appearances for the Silverbacks before retiring in 2006. He is now an assistant coach for the team.
