Silver Stars at Indiana Fever
August 9 - 6 p.m. CT - Conseco Fieldhouse
The Silver Stars visit the Eastern Conference leading Fever on Tuesday for the rst time this season. It marks guard Tully Bevilaqua's return to Conseco Fieldhouse after spending the past six seasons with Indiana.

BREAST HEALTH AWARENESS AUCTION: The Silver Stars raised $61,200 in its annual Breast Health Awareness postgame jersey auction. The team auctioned o their game-worn jerseys with some including shoes and shorts. Three players - Danielle Adams, Becky Hammon and Danielle Robinson - raised more than $6,500. All proceeds from the auction will bene t the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Mobile Mammography Unit.
HAMMON NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Guard Becky Hammon was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for July 25 through July 31. It was the seventh career Player of the Week honor for Hammon and the rst for the Silver Stars this season. Hammon averaged 23.3 points on 55.6 percent shooting (20-for-36) with 3.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals for the week. She also shot 66.7 percent (14-for-21) from behind the arc while averaging 4.7 three- pointers per game.
BEST IN THE EAST: After facing two of the top teams in the Western Conference last week, San Antonio takes a break from conference play to face three of the top four teams in the Eastern Conference. The Silver Stars face Eastern Conference leader Indiana on Tuesday and second- place Connecticut on Thursday before nishing with fourth-place Chicago on Sunday.
Player Spotlight
Forward Sophia Young led the Silver Stars with 20 points in its 72-64 win against Tulsa on Saturday and had a double-double, 18 points and 13 rebounds, in Thursday's loss to Minnesota.
Young leads San Antonio with 6.4 rebounds per game, 1.95 steals per game and ranks second with 14.4 points per game. She has led the Silver Stars in scoring seven times this season, rebounding 10 times and steals 11 times while reaching double- gure points on 16 occasions.
The Baylor alumni is in her sixth season with the Silver Stars after being selected by the team in the rst round of the 2006 WNBA Draft.
San Antonio meets the best in the Eastern Conference this week, as it visits the Connecticut Sun who enter the week second in the East at a game behind Indiana. The Silver Stars split a preseason series with Connecticut, 1-1, to begin the 2011 season.
