Silver Hawks Individual Game Tickets to Go on Sale

SOUTH BEND, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks announced that individual game tickets for the 2009 baseball season will go on sale online at SILVERHAWKS.com on Friday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. This will be the first opportunity for fans to purchase individual game tickets for the Silver vs. Gold exhibition game against the University of Notre Dame and all 70 regular season home games. Tickets will only be available online on Friday. Fans will be able to purchase tickets over the phone and at the Coveleski Stadium box office starting Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m.

Fans are encouraged to Skip the Lines and Buy Online to take full advantage of the Silver Hawks new ticketing system. Fans will now have the opportunity to select their seating location online, print tickets at home and email tickets to friends and family.

Fans will still be able to purchase tickets over the phone at 574-235-9988 and in person at the Coveleski Stadium box office, but not until Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m.

Tickets will be available for purchase online 24 hours a day and available over the phone and at the box office during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices remain the same for the 2009 season at $7 for box seats and $5 for reserved seats. Children age five and under are free.

The Silver vs. Gold exhibition game against Notre Dame will take place on Tuesday, April 7. The Silver Hawks start the regular season on the road and return for the Home Opener on Monday, April 13. Opening Day is Dyngus Day and Dollar Monday, sponsored by U93 and PEPSI.
