
Sidewinders Postponed In Colorado Springs

Tucson, AZ - The Friday, April 6th game between the Tucson Sidewinders and Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to cold weather at Security Service Field. The game will be made up as part of a double-header during Tucson's next road trip to Colorado Springs on Friday, July 13th. Weather in Colorado Springs is currently 25 degrees (F) with fog and flurries and up to an inch of snow accumulation overnight.
The Sidewinders and Sky Sox will attempt to play tomorrow afternoon at Security Service Field despite predications of similar weather conditions. Left-hander Dana Eveland (0-0, 0.00) is scheduled to start for Tucson against righty Ubaldo Jimenez (0-0, 0.00) for Colorado Springs. First pitch is at 12:05 Tucson time. The game can be heard live on COOL 1450 beginning at 11:50.
