DALLAS - The Dallas Sidekicks will televise nine road games on KFWD, Channel 52, during the 2003-04 season. The television package also includes all Dallas Sidekicks' road playoff games for the 2003 and 2004 Major Indoor Soccer League seasons.

"This is exciting for our fans and the organization," says Sidekicks' General Manager Jim Tolbert. "We have a strong and supportive fan base. We want to make it as easy for them to follow our Sidekicks as possible. Television gives them better access to our team."

The nine-game package is half the road games. The MISL plays a 36-game schedule with 18 home and road games. Sidekicks fans will now have visual access to 27 of the 36 games. Each broadcast will last two hours and 30 minutes. The broadcast team will be announced at a later date.

"We are excited about this new partnership," said Wayne Casa, KFWD Vice President and General Manager. "The Sidekicks are a family-friendly organization, and they have a great tradition and relationship with the surrounding community. That makes this relationship a good fit for both parties."

The Sidekicks last televised game was on KSTR 49 December 22, 2001 when the Sidekicks defeated the San Diego Sockers for the 2001 World Indoor Soccer League championship. The Sidekicks last televised regular season games during the 1997 season the final year of the Continental Indoor Soccer League.
