Shuckers Welcome Smokies for First Home Series of August

BILOXI, MS - After a record-breaking July, the Biloxi Shuckers return to MGM Park as one of the hottest teams in Minor League Baseball! As the playoff race heats up, the Shuckers are in position to reach the Southern League playoffs for the first time since reaching the championship series in 2019. The Shuckers will welcome in the Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, to MGM Park for the first time this year.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 8, 6:35 p.m.

The Shuckers will rev up their engines for Motorsports Night at MGM Park! The night will feature various race cars and drivers from the Gulf Coast. It's also Brew Crew Tuesday presented by F.E.B Distributing. Fans can purchase a 20oz souvenir tumbler for $12 with $6 refills at the first and third-base Beer Gardens. The first 250 fans will also receive a Coastal Themed Shuckers' T-Shirt presented by The Peoples Bank. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9, 6:35 p.m.

All military personnel can receive a $3 discount on Dugout Box and Reserved Level tickets with a valid military ID for Military Wednesday presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union. The Shuckers will also host Bark in the Park, where fans and their four-legged fans can hang out on the berm for just $8.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 10, 6:35 p.m.

The Shuckers will celebrate Gulfport with a special night and a first pitch from Gulfport mayor, Billy Hewes! It's also Thirsty Thursday presented by Yuengling, Coca-Cola and Kicker108. Fans can enjoy $2 Yuengling drafts, hot dogs and sodas with $4 draft beer specials on Miller Lite and Coors Light. There's also the 'Thirsty Thursday Deal,' which includes a Reserved Level ticket and two drink vouchers for $14 in advance.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 6:35 p.m.

A fireworks display will light up the skies over MGM Park immediately following the game, and the Shuckers will wear special Buddy Cruise-themed jerseys to be auctioned off to support Buddy Cruise. Southern Miss Golden Eagles men's basketball head coach, Jay Ladner, will be in attendance to throw out the first pitch!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 12, 6:05 p.m.

The Shuckers will celebrate Women in Sports Night and Gulfport's own Brittney Reese with a bobblehead in her likeness for the first 1,000 fans presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union! Reese is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and a seven-time world champion in long jump. The Shuckers will also honor a local organization through the Heart of a Shucker Community Fund. Gates open at 5:00 p.m.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 13, 5:05 p.m.

Southeastern Louisiana Lions baseball head coach, Bobby Barbier will be at MGM Park to throw out the first pitch! Groups of four or more can also grab a Fun Pack for $19 per person, including four reserved level tickets, hot dogs, chips and a drink. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for pregame player autographs and enjoy a postgame catch on the field. Fans can receive a Shuckers team poster presented by Mele Printing, receive pregame autographs and have a catch on the field after the game.
