Spokane Shock News Release
Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that OL Tim Walter has joined the 2011 roster. Walter, 6-4 300, was in camp this past season with the Chicago Bears.
Prior to joining the Bears, Walter started 39 games over his five-year career at Colorado State University. During his senior season, he was a member of the Rimington Trophy watch list for the nation's top center. As a junior and a senior Walter received an Honorable Mention as an All-Conference selection.
"Tim's capabilities will allow him to play a versatile role on our offensive line - and that's always valuable in Arena Football," Head Coach Rob Keefe explained. "We are very excited for him to use his speed and strength in a Spokane Shock uniform."
The Shock will begin the 2011 season on the road as they take on the SaberCats in San Jose on March 11th and will return the following week (March 19th) to host the Cleveland Gladiators on Spokane Tribe Field.
