Spokane Shock News Release

The Spokane Shock have partnered with the Children's Miracle Network to introduce "Touchdown for Kids" program this season. Fans are asked to make pledges by visiting www.cmnspokane.org. For every touchdown the Shock score at home, pledges will be made to the Children's Miracle Network, with 100% of the funds going directly to CMN's Inland Northwest efforts.

"When the Shock score touchdowns this year it's more than six points," Vice President of Marketing Jared Rose said. "CMN does great work and we are proud to support their efforts."

Last season, the Shock scored 62 home game touchdowns. Sterling Savings Bank has already pledged to donate $50 per touchdown, as a corporate sponsor. Rose has also issued a corporate challenge to businesses in the Inland Northwest to donate at least $10 per touchdown.

"The money raised through this program will help our 12 benefiting hospitals continue to provide the best pediatric care possible. We are excited about our new partnership with the Spokane Shock and their commitment to our community!" said Angie Kelleher, Children's Miracle Network Annual Fund Coordinator.
