July 11, 2008 - arenafootball2 (af2)
Spokane Shock News Release
Who: The Spokane Shock, in conjunction with the US Army, are hosting a combine for high school football players. Participation in the Northwest Football Combine will give high school athletes the opportunity to have their skills and athletic ability accurately and fairly assessed and conveyed to every college in the Northwest, and many beyond the region.
When: Saturday, July 12, 2008 10 AM
Where: Joe Albi Stadium, Spokane, WA 4918 W Everett
On Site Contact: Jared Rose - Spokane Shock - 509 217-7100
Every year all across the Northwest, hundreds of talented high school football players are overlooked by college and university coaches and recruiters. The main reason they are not recruited is they have not been marketed and no one knows about them, not because they are smaller or slower.
We have created the Northwest Football Combine to get athletes in under-recruited areas the exposure they deserve. Across the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and South athletes have the opportunity to showcase their abilities through a number of high school scouting combines and showcase events. Until now, that has not been the case in the Northwest.
Participants will be tested on strength, speed and agility. For more information please visit www.spokaneshock.com
