Spokane Shock News Release
May 3, 2011 - Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that DL Terrance Taylor has been activated from the Injured Reserve List, while DL Lance Witherspoon has been activated from Other League Exempt. In other roster moves, DL Jonathan Williams and DB Josh Ferguson have been placed on the Injured Reserve List.
Although the lineup for this weekend's game in Pittsburgh has not been determined, both Witherspoon and Taylor will be eligible to play against the Power.
Witherspoon, a former Eastern Washington University Eagle, was placed on Other League Exempt at the end of training camp when he signed with the Canadian Football League. An AFL veteran, Witherspoon spent the 2010 season with Cleveland where he tallied 20.5 tackles, with 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Before Taylor was placed on the IR List on March 30th, he recorded six tackles - including a sack - in only three games for the Shock.
Catch live coverage of this weekend's game on KSKN-22 and ESPN 700 THE TICKET on Saturday with a 5 PM kickoff. The Shock will return home to Spokane on May 14th as they host the Dallas Vigilantes at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
