
Mayor Nutter & Former Governor Rendell to Attend Soul Market Street Practice

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul received confirmation that Mayor Michael Nutter and former Governor Ed Rendell will be at the Market Street practice on Thursday. The team will be shutting down the 16th and 17th block of Market Street in Center City on Thursday, May 5 from noon to 1 p.m. to hold the first ever professional sports team practice on the streets of Philadelphia. The 'walkthrough' practice is open to the public and will be the last practice prior to the Soul's home game against the Jacksonville Sharks on Friday, May 6 at the Wells Fargo Center, with kickoff at 7:05 p.m. (EST).
