Sheldon Hangs at Wolfchase Galleria's 'Carousel of Hope' Holiday Event

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Mississippi RiverKings mascot Sheldon got into the holiday spirit with St. Jude patients and their families at Wolfchase Galleria's "Carousel of Hope" event Sunday, Dec. 11.

The mall closed earlier than usual in the midst of holiday shopping to host the third annual event for St. Jude children and their families to have some fun.

Children had an array of activities to participate in including dancing, karaoke, arts and crafts, getting their faces painted, and of course riding on the mall's carousel.

Overall the event hosted more than 150 St. Jude patients and their families, and was made possible by the following event sponsors and vendors: Wolfchase Galleria, The Disney Store, Sephora, Steak Escape, Whole Foods, Great American Cookie, Spider Jump, Brooks Brothers and Helzberg Diamonds.
