Sharks Shoot Down The Vigilantes

Jacksonville Sharks News Release


The Sharks improved to 5-1 - and still unbeaten on Sea Best Field at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The Sharks defeated the Dallas Vigilantes 70-49 in front of over 10,000 fin-atics. The Sharks jumped to a quick start and led by 13-0. The Sharks never trailed, though the Vigilantes began creeping back within striking distance on several occasions.

The Sharks defense lived up to its number one ranking. With multiple sacks, including one forcing a fumble return for a touchdown and a safety, the defense came up strong and allowed the offernse to post 10 touchdowns.

Sharks quarterback Aaron Garcia threw for a season high 8 touchdowns connecting with receivers Juron Harvey and Dallas Baker for two each, and Jomo Wilson with 4.

The Sharks return to Sea Best Field next Saturday, May 22, for a 7:05pm kick off against the Cleveland Gladiators.
