
Sharks Add Key Receiver

JACKSONVILLE, FLA - The Jacksonville Sharks announce the addition of Sale´ Key to the roster.
Key (6'5 215 lbs) joins the Sharks after spending several seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) and arenafootball2 (af2) league, most recently in 2008 with the New Orleans Voo Doo.
Key played four years for the Idaho State Bengals, starting three of those years. Key finished his collegiate career in 2004 with an impressive senior season leading the Bengals with 942 receiving yards, nine touchdowns, and 67 catches. Key finished as the program's career reception leader with 187 catches and catching a pass in 38 straight games, a school record. Key finished second on the Bengals all-time lists for touchdowns and receiving yards.
Key spent time with the Stockton Lightning of af2. He led the Lightning with 129 receptions for 1,584 yards with 41 touchdowns. Prior to joining Stockton, Key went to training camp with the Las Vegas Gladiators. In 2006, Key was signed to the Utah Blaze playing in six games. Key spent his first professional season with the af2 ArenaCup champion Memphis Xplorers, where he tallied 15 catches for 195 yards and five touchdowns in four regular season games while playing a key role in their playoff run.
The Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL). All home games will be played at Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The home season kicks off April 16th as the Sharks take on the Orlando Predators. Season tickets for the inaugural season of the Jacksonville Sharks are now available for as low as $45.
