Brevard County Manatees News Release
Tonight's game between the Palm Beach Cardinals and the Brevard County Manatees has been postponed due to severe weather conditions in central and northern Brevard County.
The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 pm tomorrow, Thursday, August 19th, at Space Coast Stadium. Gates open at 4:30 pm.
The winds flattened John Van Vleet's tent and caused ponds to form on the playing surface here at Space Coast Stadium. For photos of the damage, check out www.manateesbaseball.com and click on PHOTO ALBUM, then click on AUGUST/SEPTEMBER and check out photos number 2 & 3.
There is a severe weather alert at this time in the county, check the National Weather Service for complete information.
For more game information, call (321) 633-9200 during normal business hours.
