
Several Players Set To Make AFL Debut With Brigade

Kansas City Brigade News Release
New faces will see significant playing time
QB Matt Kohn will be making his Kansas City Brigade debut this upcoming Monday. Kohn, who is in his second season in the AFL, last played for the Nashville Kats. Kohn takes over the starting quarterback role from John Fitzgerald. LB Antonio Ficklin and DL Joe Wooldridge will both be making their AFL debuts against the Grand Rapids Rampage; Ficklin will start in place of the injured Jerry Turner. Robb Butler, who was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in 2006 and 2007, will start at Jack linebacker for the Brigade; Butler attended the Brigade 2008 training camp and was signed this week. QB D. Bryant has been moved to the practice squad. DB/LB Denario Smalls was placed on the injured reserve with a calf injury; Smalls will be eligible to return for week nine.
Pep Rally to be held at KC Live Block
Brigade fans make sure to arrive early to the Kansas City Power and Light District on Monday the 24th. The Brigade pep rally begins at 4:30 pm at the KC Live Block. The Brigade girls will hit the stage around 5:00 pm. There will be music, highlight videos, and games where fans can win future Brigade tickets and Brigade merchandise.
Time change for Week 5
The Kansas City Brigade vs. San Jose SaberCats game has been pushed back 30 minutes. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 pm on Saturday March 29th.
