Seven Marlies Games to be Broadcast Live on CBC

The Toronto Marlies, in conjunction with the American Hockey League and CBC, today announced a one-year broadcast agreement that will see the Canadian network produce and broadcast 10 AHL games throughout the upcoming 2010-11 regular season. In total, seven Marlies games, including five at Ricoh Coliseum, will be broadcast live to viewers all across Canada.

The Marlies will play live on CBC on the following dates:

Sunday, October 17 - Binghamton Senators at Marlies, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, November 21 - Hamilton Bulldogs at Marlies, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, December 12 - Marlies at Hamilton Bulldogs, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, January 16 - Marlies at Abbotsford Heat, 2:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, February 27 - Manitoba Moose at Marlies, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, March 6 - Hamilton Bulldogs at Marlies, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, April 3 - Manitoba Moose at Marlies, 1:00 p.m. ET

Each game will also be available live and on-demand on CBCSports.ca.

All 10 games will showcase AHL teams affiliated with one of the six Canadian NHL teams. Other matchups this season will also include games between the Hamilton Bulldogs, Abbotsford Heat, Manitoba Moose and the Oklahoma City Barons.
