Series Shifts to Tri-City

The Spokane Chiefs and Tri-City Americans Western Conference Semifinals have turned into a best-fo-five with the series tied at one. Games three, four and five will be played in in Tri-City beginning on Tuesday night at 7:00. All three games can be heard live on 1510 KGA with the voice of the Chiefs, Mike Boyle.

The two traded wins in the Spokane Arena on Saturday and Sunday with Tri-City taking game on, 3-1. Kruise Reddick and Jordan Messier both had a goal and assist for the Americans while Steven Kuhn scored for Spokane. The game featured just eight combined penalty minutes and just two power plays.

Spokane earned a 6-3 win on Sunday night to make the series all square. Mitch Holmberg scored two goals and had an assist to give him four goals and five points in his last two games. Jared Cowen, who leads all players in scoring during the series, had four assists in the victory.

Thursday night's game four can be seen live on SWX, Sports and Weather Right Now, in Spokane over the air on 6-2 in Spokane and on Comcast channel 115.

Game five will be played on Sunday night at 7:30.
