Series Preview: Express Host Iowa to Conclude Home Stand

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express conclude an eight-game home stand this week with a four-game series against the Iowa Cubs. The series runs Tuesday through Friday with a 7:05 p.m. CDT first pitch each night at The Dell Diamond. The series is highlighted by Thursday's Pink in the Park and Friday's Bud Light Postgame Fireworks.

Round Rock Express Baseball and the Austin affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure once again team for Pink in the Park night Thursday at The Dell Diamond. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to Thursday's game, when Express players will don pink jerseys.

Pink in the Park serves as a fundraiser for the Komen Austin affiliate. The Express will donate $3 from each reserved ticket and $2 from each general admission ticket purchased at www.RoundRockExpress.com. Anyone purchasing tickets online should enter the promo code PINK to activate the donation. Players' jerseys also will be auctioned during the game and autographed after to be picked up at a later date with all proceeds benefiting Austin's Komen affiliate.

The series begins with Two-for-Tuesdays with buy-one-get-one-free tickets. The series continues with Winning Wednesdays, presented by the Texas Lottery, with game-show oriented contests for prizes between innings. H-E-B reusable grocery bags also will be available for Wednesday's first 2,500 fans. Thursday is the Original Thirsty Thursday, presented by Firetrol Protection Systems, with reduced beer and soda prices. The Austin Diamond District Diamond Dig will take place after the Thursday game. The series concludes with Bud Light Friday Fireworks.

Wednesday night's game will have a local touch as former Texas A&M standout pitcher Brooks Raley is scheduled to start for the Iowa Cubs.
