Jamestown Jammers News Release
JAMESTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Jammers have responded well after a 10-game losing streak. In their last 10 games, they have gone 6-4, including sweeps of both the Vermont Lake Monsters, and the Brooklyn Cyclones. However, they did run into a minor road block this past weekend against the Staten Island Yankees. The Yankees swept the Jammers, and sent them back to Jamestown looking to get back on the winning track. Diethrick Park has been kind to the Jammers of late, as they have won their past four games at home.
Jamestown welcomes to town the Auburn Doubledays, an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Auburn comes into this two game series in Jamestown with a 16-20 record on the season, and a 5-5 record in their last 10 games.
Tonight at Diethrick park is the second $1.50 night of the season. General admission tickets, hot dogs, soda, and budweisers will all be available for the low price of $1.50. Tomorrow night, fans can help the Jamestown Jammers heighten awareness for Autism, and help raise money for a sensory room for local children afflicted with Autism.
