The Rock Cats took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Luke Hughes opened the inning with a double and scored on Matt Moses' triple to center field. The Senators answered back in the top of the third. Former Rock Cat Luis Jimenez led off with a double, moved to third on a groundout, and scored on a sac fly by Andrew Lefave.
In the first game, Harrisburg's Andrew Lefave had three hits and scored two runs as the Senators won, 6-2.
Drew Butera hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot to lead off the third inning. David Winfree added an RBI double in the sixth for the Rock Cats.
William Bergolla slugged a two-run homer for the Senators in the fifth inning.
Zechry Zinicola (2-1, 2.00) limited the Rock Cats to one run on two hits while striking out two in two innings of relief.
Rock Cats starter Errol Simonitsch suffered the loss. Simonitsch (0-1, 6.30) allowed three runs on seven hits. He walked four while striking out two.
