Binghamton Senators News Release
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators will host Racing Night this Friday, March 28, as they welcome the St. John's IceCaps at 7:05p.m. There will be several local racing tracks with displays setup along the Arena concourse starting at 6:00p.m. when the doors open.
Friday is also the 1st Annual Southern Tier Hockey Association End of the Season Celebration. The STHA will have tables along the concourse with various giveaways and raffles. All money raised from the raffles benefits the STHA. Throughout the game the B-Sens and STHA will be recognizing various teams who won tournaments during the season.
Before the puck drops between the B-Sens and IceCaps, the STHA 18-U Hockey Team will present Corey Cowick with a check totaling its fundraising efforts for Cowick's Fights for a Cure, a season long initiative launched by Cowick to raise money for cancer research. For more information about Cowick's Fight for a Cure or to donate visit http://m.main.acsevents.org/site/TR?team_id1539799&fr_id56402&pgteam.
The Binghamton Hockey Booster Club will also be honoring a B-Sens player pregame on Friday as the Booster Club Player of the Month.
First intermission will feature YES Human Bowling, the New York State Lottery dice game, and as always, the Endicott Precision Shot. Members of the Vestal High School Hockey Team will be on the ice celebrating the team's championship victory earlier this month.
The first 500 fans 18-years-and-older through the gates will receive a Buy-One-Get-One coupon from the New York State Lottery.
Friday night is also the last chance to enter the Broome County High School Hockey Association's raffle for a limo ride and four tickets to see the Ottawa Senators take on the New York Rangers in Madison Square Garden. The prize includes dinner before the game as well. Tickets are just $5.00 with all proceeds benefitting the BCHSHA. The winner will be announced during the third period.
Fans can save money on tickets with the Friday-2-Pack which includes two tickets in sections 6-10, two hotdogs and two sodas for just $32. This offer is available only through the Binghamton Senators Executive Office located on the 3rd floor of the Arena. Friday is also a Price Chopper AdvantEdge Card night where fans can receive $4.00 off their tickets when they show their AdvantEdge Card at the time of purchase. The Price Chopper Advantage Card discount is available through either the B-Sens Executive Office or the Arena Box Office.
