Jackson Senators News Release


Jackson, MS– After an 8 game losing streak, the Jackson Senators finally got it all together to knockout the Coastal Bend Aviators 13-4. The Senators piled up 13 hits, and 13 runs with 4 hitters with multiple hit ballgames. Selwyn Langaigne shined the most with a 3 for 4 night at the plate. Langaigne hit his first homerun of the season, a 3 run shot in the first inning. Jackson combined good hitting with solid pitching from Ryan Snyder, who pitched 8 innings and scattering 7 hits. Snyder is now 2-4 with the win, his first in 5 starts. Jackson will go for their second win in a row tomorrow, as they will have Ryan Creek on the mound. The Aviators will throw Lavelle Morgan, as they look to even the series.
