
Rocha and Kranawatter nab Central League weekly awards

Durham, N.C. -- San Angelo's Juan Rocha and Pensacola's Josh Kranawetter were tabbed SportsTicker Batter and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, on Monday, June 7. They won based upon their performances from May 31 - June 6.
Rocha hit .467 with 14 hits in 30 at-bats with six runs scored and 11 RBI. He also hit three home runs and had a slugging percentage of .800 for the Colts.
Kranawatter went 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA in two starts last week. In his last start, he tossed a four-hit complete game on June 4 in the Pelicans road win over Amarillo. In that same game, he struck out 10 for the third time this season. Kranawatter has won three straight for the Pelicans, which has victories in each of its last eight games and taken over first place in the East Division.
