Senior Discount For Each Game This Season

(Nashua, NH, March 17, 2006) - Nashua Pride team officials announced today senior citizens will be welcomed with open arms this upcoming season. Each Pride fan 55 and older will receive $2 off the price of reserve and box individual tickets for all 46 home games during the 2006 season.

According to the latest census numbers, the 55 and over residents represent 20% of Nashua's population base and this number is on the rise. With the city's ever-growing senior community, Pride officials feel the impetus to reach out to the more mature and wiser demographic.

Pride general manager Marty Wheeler is excited about the new initiative for seniors. "We want everyone in Nashua and the surrounding region to feel welcome at Historic Holman Stadium. This type of offer is long overdue, and we feel our seniors deserve this and should be rewarded for their service to the local community."

The Nashua Pride, entering their first year of play in the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, play their home games at Historic Holman Stadium. Prior to joining the Can-Am League, the Pride played for eight seasons in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, winning the 2000 Atlantic League championship.
