Senators Hot Stove Dinner is January 23; Chris Bostick and Isaac Ballou Added as Guests

Harrisburg, PA - The Senators are pleased to announce that infielder/outfielder Chris Bostick and outfielder Isaac Ballou have been added as guests and will sign autographs before dinner, which begins at 7:00 p.m. The Harrisburg Senators sixth annual Hot Stove Dinner is Saturday, January 23 at the Central Hotel and Conference Center Best Western Premier. The proceeds from the dinner this year benefit the Children's Miracle Network.
Bostick was originally selected by the Oakland A's in 2011. He was acquired on 12/12/2014 from the Texas Rangers in the trade involving Ross Detwiler. He spent 75 games with the Senators this past season hitting .247 with eight HRs and 40 RBIs and 15 SBs. He also played in the prospect laden Arizona Fall League this past October and November, hitting .268 with four HRs and twelve RBIs.
Ballou was the Nationals 15th round selection in the 2013 draft out of Marshall University. He played at three different levels in 2015, beginning the season in Potomac before being promoted to Harrisburg and then on to Syracuse where he finished the season. In 49 games with the Senators he batted .304 with five HRs and 24 RBIs. Isaac is currently playing in the Puerto Rican winter league.
Bostick and Ballou join Matt LeCroy, Doug Harris and Todd VanderWoude who were previously announced as guests at this years' event.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at 7:00pm. Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction and, at the conclusion of the program, a raffle is taking place with the proceeds benefitting Children's Miracle Network.
The seated-dinner is $55 and the deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, January 15. Tickets are available online through the Senators website at www.senatorsbaseball.com or by calling Blair Jewell at 231-4444 ext. 122.
The Senators offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily during the off-season. The 2016 home opener is Thursday, April 14th against the Reading Fightin Phils.
