Abilene Prairie Dogs News Release
SAN ANGELO, TX - After 42 games with the Prairie Dogs, Adam De La Garza has been traded to the Kansas City T-Bones of the American Association. The Dogs will receive cash consideration for the switch hitter.
De La Garza, who began the season with the Colts, batted .252 with nine doubles and 15 R.B.I.s over 226 at-bats between San Angelo and Abilene. The Prairie Dogs have not yet announced who will fill De La Garza's roster spot.
The Prairie Dogs will be in action this evening when they play a double header at Foster Field. Both contests are scheduled to last seven innings; the twin bill will get underway at 5:05 in San Angelo. Hear the game on 106.9 KLGD or on the internet with abileneprairiedogs.com.
