Orlando SeaWolves News Release
Orlando, FL - After being shut out for the first time in team history, the Orlando SeaWolves will host a team they have never faced, the San Diego Sockers on Thursday, February 6th at 7:35 p.m. EST. The match will be televised online at masl.tv.
"The Sockers are very strong, very quick and very tenacious," Head Coach Tom Traxler said, "They're going to get at you, there's going to be lots of shots, lots of follow-ups, almost frenetic and fast-paced. For us, we have to take advantage of opportunities when we have them."
This will be the first and only time the two teams will face off against each other. San Diego's match against Orlando will be the fifth game in a six-game road trip, with a match against the Florida Tropics set for Saturday the 8th. The Sockers are coming off a 9-6 win over Soles de Sonora on Tuesday.
Following Thursday's game, the SeaWolves spend the rest of February on the road, starting a trip back to Baltimore to take on the Blast on Sunday, February 9th. That game will kick off at 5:05 p.m. andÃÂ will be televised online at masl.tv.
