Orlando SeaWolves News Release
Orlando, FL -ÃÂ Looking for their first win on the season, the Orlando SeaWolves took on the defending champion Milwaukee Wave, ultimately falling 10-2 in Kissimmee at the Silver Spurs Arena.
The first quarter was a close contest as both teams fought to open up the scoring. It was Ian Bennett for Milwaukee that eventually opened the game up. Luiz Mota would pull one back just four minutes later to even things up, but then the Wave began to put their foothold on the game.
Angel Curiel scored just before the end of the first quarter to start a four-goal run for the away side, putting them up 5-1 at halftime. Milwaukee would score another to start the third quarter, but a foul in the box on the Wave gifted a penalty to Richard Schmermund and the SeaWolves to pull it back to a 6-2 scoreline.
That is as close as Orlando would get as Milwaukee would rattle off four more unanswered goals, including an Ian Bennett hat-trick, to make it a 10-2 scoreline. Orlando falls to 0-5 on the season while Milwaukee improves to 3-1.
Orlando will have a short memory on this loss, as they look for revenge tomorrow against the visiting Baltimore Blast. Kickoff is set for 3:05 p.m. with free tickets being distributed over onÃÂ https://www.orlandoseawolves.com/free-ticket-offer.
