SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs have signed goaltender Joel Goguen as an affiliate player and recalled him from the Amherst Ramblers of the Maritime Hockey League (MHL).

The 18-year-old from Cocagne, New Brunswick, has played eight games in his first full season with the Ramblers, posting a record of 3-3-1 with a 2.45 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.

Listed at 5'10" and 155 lbs., Goguen attended Saint John's 2017 training camp as a free agent and appeared in four preseason games. He spent most of last season with the Kent Koyotes of the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League (NBJHL).

Saint John's next game is Friday, November 17th, at 7 p.m. against the Halifax Mooseheads at Scotiabank Centre.
