The Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets open up a six-game series with a doubleheader on Monday night at Hadlock Field...Portland is coming off a three-game sweep of the Trenton Thunder.

STARTS WITH A SWEEP : The Sea Dogs earned their first multiple-game sweep of the season, and begin a six-game series in four days on Monday night against the Binghamton Mets at Hadlock Field...Portland and Binghamton split a twinbill on May 3rd at NYSEG Stadium, and will also play a doubleheader on Wednesday...The 'Dogs are a season-high 12 games over .500 and have not been 13 games over .500 since they were 36-23 in 2008...LHP Henry Owens and RHP Mike McCarthy get the starts in tonight's doubleheader for Portland.

MAGIC MIKE : RHP Mike Augliera (3-4) tied a career-high with 8 IP, giving up just five hits and one run, as the Sea Dogs completed a three-game sweep of the Trenton Thunder, winning 2-1 on Sunday afternoon...RHP Noe Ramirez notched his third save of the season with a perfect ninth...Portland took a 1-0 lead in the second on an infield-RBI single from 2B Derrik Gibson...CF Mookie Betts stole third base and scored on an throwing error by the catcher for the second run...Trenton's lone run came in the sixth inning on a run-scoring single by 2B Rob Refsnyder.
