NICE START : The Sea Dogs began a six-game roadtrip with a win on Tuesday night, and continue their 3-game set with the Altoona Curve (Pirates affiliate) tonight at Peoples Natural Gas Field...Portland is 6-11 during a 22-game stretch against the Western Division...RHP Justin Haley makes his first career appearance against the Curve, he's coming off a career start, allowing just one hit over 7.0 IP on August 13th vs. Erie.
THAT WAS FUN : Aaron Wilkerson earned his first Double-A win, firing seven strong innings on four hits and one run, as the 'Dogs beat the Curve 2-1 in the series opener...Tim Roberson clobbered a game-winning two-run homer in the seventh off losing pitcher Tom Harlan (5-3)...RHP Kyle Kaminska worked the final two innings in his '15 debut with Portland to notch the save.
