Sea Dawgs Welcome Upward Basketball Participants To Free Ticket Day

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Sea Dawgs have teamed up with area Upward Basketball organizers to offer player and their coaches the opportunity to attend a professional basketball game at no charge.

Upward Basketball participants who wear his/her uniform to the January 7th game will be able to attend the game for free.

"We wanted to allow young basketball players and their families a chance to come out and watch professional basketball player in action," says Head Coach Kevin Whitted. "We hope many of our fans will stay after the game to meet their favorite players, dancers, and of course our skateboarding mascot, "Salty Dawg'."

The game takes place on Sunday, January 7th at 4:05 pm at the Schwartz Center (Cape Fear Community College campus downtown). There is plenty of free parking close to the venue. No advance tickets are required. The ticket window will open at 3:15 p.m. on game day. Regular admission prices are in effect for all other guests.

The Wilmington Sea Dawgs will be playing the Maryland Nighthawks both Sunday as well as Monday (game time 7:05 pm). They also have a game against the Richmond Ballerz this Thursday at 7:05 pm.
