Sea Dawgs' "Teen Elite" Volunteers Needed
March 4, 2010 - Continental Basketball League (CBL)
Wilmington Sea Dawgs News Release
Wilmington, NC March 4th, 2010- In their first three seasons, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs earned back-to-back-to-back postseason playoff berths. Now, with its fourth season less than two months away, the team is looking for elite level volunteers (ages 15-18) for the 2010 season. Volunteer duties will consist primarily of concessions operations, selling tickets, helping with equipment, assisting the staff, setting up and tearing down operations, etc.
"This will be a great opportunity for an aspiring young adult to gain valuable experience within the sports industry and become an integral part of a semi-professional basketball team that is bringing another level of fame to our beloved home town of Wilmington," says Penny Millis, Operations Manager for the team.
The Wilmington Sea Dawgs' games are generally played on weekends at the Schwartz Center located in historic, downtown Wilmington.
The most promising "Teen Elite" volunteer applicants will complete an interview process. Applications are available on the website www.wilmingtonseadawgs.com.
