Off the Court

The Sea Dawgs organization, along with Sea Dawgs business partner, Carvel Ice Cream, teamed up with i9 sports for their end-of-the-season kids' league basketball tournament this past Saturday at Noble Middle School. Congratulations to the league winners! Maybe there are some future Sea Dawgs in the group? The Sea Dawgs are proud to support Cape Fear Community College's Alumni Association Kick-Off event taking place on campus this Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. In addition, the CFCC Sea Devils Men's Basketball team will be playing at 5:00 p.m. (our game follows them at 8:00 p.m.).

Upcoming Game News

The team's road game originally scheduled for this Friday in Jacksonville has been rescheduled as part of the Triple "S" Showcase tournament to take place in Chicago in March. More details about this exciting event will be available soon!

Our next home game is this Saturday, February 23rd (note the later 8:00 p.m. start time). We will be playing the Jacksonville Slam. Along with a performance from our own Sea Dawgs Dance team, our special half time guest is the Joel Lewis Drum and Drill team. The V.I.P. Dawg Pound Reception will be catered by Bar-B-Cutie. Our "Pause for a Cause" not-for-profit partner organization for this game is Habitat for Humanity.

Remember, those arriving 30 minutes ahead of time get in for half price! Pass it on!

Player News

Charles Ward's 38 points against Maryland on the road earlier this month set at league record! Way to go Charles!

In that same game, Alexander Harper suffered a knee injury. He is scheduled for an MRI this week. His playing status will be updated later this week.
