Rockford Fury To Host Free Basketball Clinic

Rockford, Illinois - February 21, 2008 - Children of all ages are invited to participate in a free basketball clinic hosted by the Rockford Fury. The players and coaches of the team will work with kids of all playing levels to help improve their skills. General Manager and Head Coach Dave Knickelbein says the players enjoy teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball while the coaches focus on teamwork. The Rockford Fury Basketball Clinic will take place Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 9:00am-11:00am at Patriots Gateway, 615 S. 5th Street, Rockford. Kids need to be ready to hit the court by wearing comfortable clothing and gym shoes. Each participant of the clinic will receive a free game ticket for Saturday night's Rockford Fury home game.
Enjoy a full weekend of Fury action at Seaver Gym on the Rockford College campus. The Fury will take on the Dallas Defenders on Saturday, February 23, at 7:05pm, and tip-off for the Sunday, February 24 game is at 4:05 when the Fury take-on the Chicago Throwbacks. Advance general admission tickets are available by calling 815.399.4222 and tickets can also be purchased at the gate on game day. Tickets for regular season games are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and seniors, and children 6 and under are free. Plus, V.I.P. seats are available for each home game; contact the Rockford Fury for availability. Special rates apply for groups of 10 or more; please call 815.399.422.
