Wilmington Sea Dawgs News Release
The Wilmington Sea Dawgs were due to play the Dallas Defenders this evening. Due to air travel problems which originated in Dallas, the team was unable to make it to Wilmington in time to play the game. When this became apparent this afternoon, the PBL was able to bring in its "Travelers" team.
The Sea Dawgs came away with a 112-81 win in front of a very large crowd which included a terrific turnout from boy scouts, girl scouts and their leaders and parents. High scorers for the Sea Dawgs were Dexter Gregory with 16 points, and Jermaine Williams with 15 points.
The Sea Dawgs leave tomorrow to play at Maryland at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night. Their next home game is Wednesday Feb 13th at 7:00 p.m. against the Rochester Razorsharks. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Center. The theme for this game will be "Military Appreciation Night."
