Rockford, Illinois - February 8, 2008 - The Rockford Fury will honor local students during their home game on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2008. A class from St. Rita's held a project during the holidays to benefit the Rockford Memorial Foundation Toys for Hospitalized Kids Program and the Fury is proud to welcome these special 5th graders to the court during Saturday's game. General Manager and Head Coach of the Rockford Fury, Dave Knickelbein, says the game will be extra-special with these generous kids in the bleachers. He says it is wonderful to see kids from the Rockford area helping other kids, and the team is proud to shine the spotlight on them for their efforts.
The Fury will travel back from a game against the Arkansas Impact on Friday, February 8, 2008 to play against the Quad City River Hawks at Seaver Gym on the Rockford College Campus on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 7:05pm. Advance general admission tickets are available by calling 815.399.4222 and tickets can also be purchased at the gate on game day.
Tickets for regular season games are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and seniors, and children 6 and under are free. Plus, V.I.P. seats are available for each home game; contact the Rockford Fury for availability. Special rates apply for groups of 10 or more; please call 815.399.4222.
