Scorpions Sneak Past Jacks with 3-1 Win

(Rio Rancho, NM) - Chris Robertson's even strength goal at 14:15 of the third period was the back breaker as the Jackalopes fell to the Scorpions, 3-1, on Sunday evening at the Santa Ana Star Center.

Aaron MacInnis added an empty net goal to make it a two goal lead for the Scorpions. The Jacks lose on the road for just the third time this season.

New Mexico's Jamie Harrington opened up the scoring with a shorthanded goal in the first period at 11:04. Sebastien Thinel tied it up just :50 later on the power play with his 22nd goal of the season.

The Jacks head to Amarillo on New Year's Eve for their third meeting in the last four games. The puck will drop at 7:05 PM and the game can be heard on 97 Gold or online on the CHL Network.
