Scorpions Name Scott Miller VP of Ticket Sales & Service

SAN ANTONIO, TX - The San Antonio Scorpions have named Scott Miller as the Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service for the club, Scorpions President and General Manager, Howard Cornfield, announced on Monday.

Miller will be responsible for and oversee all aspects of ticket sales and service for the organization, including but not limited to, season tickets, group sales, single-game tickets and premium/suite tickets.

"We want to be the best in everything we do and Scott is an excellent addition to our organization," said Cornfield. "We look forward to working together to implement some of the great sales and service programs he put together in the MLS with D.C. United."

Miller joins the Scorpions after working for D.C. United for the last 10 years in various ticketing leadership positions, and most recently involved as Director of Sales for Washington Spirit of National Women's Soccer League in their inaugural year. Miller earned multiple MLS ticketing awards with D.C. United, including MLS Account Executive of the Year from 2007-2010.

"It's an honor to join the impressive front office that the Scorpions have put together," said Miller. "I look forward to heightening the interest of soccer, expanding the Scorpions fan base, and developing relationships with the San Antonio business and soccer communities."

Born and raised in Maryland, Miller graduated from the University of Richmond with a BA of Business Administration and Minor in Sport Management.

The Scorpions are in the process of finishing their second ever season in the North American Soccer League, and their first in Toyota Field. With the conclusion of their final home game on October 26th, the Scorpions play their final match in Carolina against the RailHawks on November 2nd.
