Schroer Receives Honorable Mention from NAHL
November 16, 2015 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Coulee Region Chill News Release
Caleb Schroer, forward from Wisconsin Rapids, WI, has gotten off to a fast start since joining the Coulee Region Chill at the end of October. In only six games played it's safe to say Schroer is certainly feeling at home in his home state, contributing five total points (three goals, two assists). In his previous 32 games played with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Schroer had only tallied two goals and four assists.
It's worth noting that since joining the Chill, Schroer has contributed a point in every game that the team has won, going 4-0. Games he hasn't scored an assist or goal? The Chill are 0-2.
This last weekend Schroer had arguably his best weekend in the NAHL, garnering honorable mention accolades in the Midwest Division. On Friday night he assisted on a goal and Saturday night he assisted on another goal and put one of his own in. The last time Schroer had scored a goal and an assist in the same night was on December 30th of last year.
Schroer will face his former team this weekend as he and the Chill travel to Fairbanks to take on the Ice Dogs on Friday and Saturday night.
