Tulsa Oilers News Release
Early Risers: Thanks to American Airlines and the Transport Workers Local Union 514, the Tulsa Oilers are hosting their first Tulsa Public School day game on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. against the Youngstown SteelHounds. The game is also presented in part by Spirit Bank, the Oklahoma Lottery, and U.S. Cellular. That's the start of a busy week and the last home game for 10 days for the Oilers. They will begin a three game road trip on Friday at Lubbock against the Cotton Kings at 7:05 p.m., and then travel to Wichita to take on the Thunder Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Both Friday and Saturday's games can be heard on KMMY FM 97.1.
Tough Week: The Oilers dropped two out of three last week, beating the Corpus Christi Rayz, 3-1 then losing to Odessa, 4-1, and losing to Oklahoma City, 4-3.
Hot Cesky: Jaroslav Cesky is currently the hottest player in the Central Hockey League. He is riding an 11 game point scoring streak. In that span he has 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points. The is the longest current streak in the league, and fourth longest of the season. The longest scoring streak in the CHL this year is 13 games by Travis Clayton (Wichita) and Mike Rutter (Odessa).
Sunday Dinner:Fans can meet the Oielrs and have dinner with them Sunday February 12th at 7 p.m. at the Fox & Hound Restaurant located at 71st and Garnett.
