School Daze: The Tulsa Oilers would like to thank American Airlines and Transport Workers Local 514 for making today's Tulsa Public School Day game against the Youngstown SteelHounds possible. Today's game is also presented in part by Spirit Bank, U.S. Cellular and the Oklahoma Lottery.

Records: Oilers are 20-19-3 with 43 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division. Youngstown is 15-25-2 for 32 points tied for third place in the Northeast Division.

Season Series: This is the fifth and final meeting of the regular season between these two teams. It's also the rubber game of the series as each team has won two games. The Oilers and Youngstown have also split on each other's home ice, with each team winning one at home, and one on the road. The Oilers won the last meeting between the two teams, 6-3 in Tulsa on January 28th.

Watch Out For This Guy: Youngstown has the Central Hockey league's leading goal scorer on its team. Number 72 Jeff Christian has scored 37 goals this year. He is tied for second in the league scoring race with 25 assists giving him 62 points.

Early Start: While this is the first time the Oilers have played a morning school day game, Youngstown had one last week at home. The SteelHounds lost that game to Memphis, 6-2 on February 1st.

Long Time Away: The Oilers will have a three game road tirp after today's game and won't play at home again until February 17th, when ythe host the Wichita Thunder at 7:35 p.m. all of the games on the upcoming road trip can be heard on KMMY FM 97.1.

Next Up: the three game road trip will start on Friday when the Oilers visit the Lubbock cotton Kings at 7:05 p.m. then on Saturday, the Oielrs will travel to Wichita to play the Thunder. The three game road swing will wrap up one week from tonight in Amarillo against the Gorillas.
