
Savoie, Geekie and Milne Listed in NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

Three members of the Winnipeg ICE are named this morning in the Final Rankings by NHL Central Scouting for the 2022 NHL Draft.
Forward Matthew Savoie is the highest ranking WHL player among North American skaters at number four followed by teammate Conor Geekie at number five. Mikey Milne is listed at 119 for this summer's Draft scheduled for July 7-8, 2022 at Bell Centre in Montreal, Que.
Savoie led the ICE during the 2021-22 WHL regular season with 90 points (35 goals and 55 assists) in 65 games.
Geekie registered 70 points (24 goals and 46 assists) in 63 games while Milne had 81 points (38 goals and 43 assists) in 68 games.
Savoie, Geekie and Milne all set career highs in goals, assists and points this season.

The ICE open the second round of the WHL Playoffs tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena versus the Moose Jaw Warriors. Both games start at 7:00pm. For tickets, click here.
Warriors forward Jagger Firkus and defenceman Denton Mateychuk are ranked 12th and 14th respectively.
