Kootenay Ice News Release

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is excited to announce the launch of its new Family of Four Game Day Package, which includes significant savings over walk up prices.

The Family of Four Game Day Package will cost $56.00 plus applicable taxes and is only available on game days. This special pricing represents $10 in savings when compared with regular walk up prices.

The Family of Four Game Day Package is only available in the Family Fun Zone (section E).

The ICE continue to launch programs in response to fan feedback with an emphasis on attendance. Currently, the ICE have seen a decline in season seats of 247 when compared to last season. The current season seat total of 1,670 is well below the Drive to 25 (2,500) target set by ownership in May of 2017.

The discounted Family of Four Game Day Package pricing is another effort from the ICE to encourage families to attend home games. Last year, the ICE launched the Family Value Package, which equates to each member of the family attending for just over $9 a game. Also, a reduced Student/ Child (under 18) season seat rate was introduced where youth can attend an ICE home game for $6.17 per game.

In addition to the family and youth reduced pricing options, the ICE continue to run community programs such as the Youth Community Group of the Game presented by The Brick, Classroom of the Game presented by Cranbrook Kia and Minor Hockey Team of the Game presented by M&R Electric.

Groups can attend ICE home games for free by clicking on the links provided below and applying online.

Last year, the ICE hosted over 4,500 youth through programming involving complementary and donated tickets.

The ICE Home Opener is scheduled for Saturday, September 22 with puck drop to take place at 7 p.m. MT.
