Niagara IceDogs News Release
Niagara IceDogs general manager and head coach Marty Williamson has announced that goaltender MacKenzie Savard has committed to the IceDogs, agreeing to a standard player agreement.
Savard impressed in training camp and it has earned him a spot on the team to start the season. The 17 year old netminder played for the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves last season, where he posted a 2.52 goals against average in 17 games.
The entire IceDogs organization would like to congratulate Savard on his signing.
