Sauk Valley Predators News Release
The Sauk Valley Predators announce a new player to their organization, Desmond Holloway. At 6'4 Desmond is a lengthy, sleek scoring combo guard that has the height and versatility to play the both wing spots in the Big South. He understands how to score and does it well from just about everywhere on the floor.
Desmond was the top player in the Big South Conference. He averages 19 points per game and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the floor along with 35% from 3. Desmond was selected to the all-conference first team and was a member of the all-tournament first team. His style of play resembles that of NBA player Stephen Currey.
"Our team continues to thrive on unbelievable talent and we cannot wait to bring this talent to the Sauk Valley area", states Leah Grenoble, Owner and Director of Operations. "With the local basketball seasons underway and the NBA starting on Christmas Day, this winter season will be filled with court action".
The Sauk Valley Predators will start their 2012 season on Friday, January 6th at the Homer Musgrove Fieldhouse in Sterling, IL. Individual and season tickets can be purchased online at www.saukvalleypredators.com. You can also view the other Predator players and full schedule as well.
